| Bio: | I'm a natural debator...if you say something that leaves any room for discussion (and sometimes even when you don't), I'll probably harass you with logic until you see that I am correct. I chose sarcasm as my first language at an early age, I tend to change my mind a lot about petty issues, but I'm iron-clad on things that really matter, like how right I am all the time. I have extreme contempt for the majority of humanity...Must love the cynic. I'm very easy to talk to, I am prone to running up to random people and striking up a conversation with them. I am a good listener, but I'm very easily distracted. I try to make people comfortable around me, and I hand out compliments like candy to people who don't piss me off the second I meet them. For those that don't annoy me right off the bat, I usually find a lot of great qualities in them and enjoy talking about anything...almost incessantly. I have a bad anger streak...but most of all the things that that piss me off are dishonesty, comformity, and people who think they can control me. I'm a bit lazy physically, but personality wise, I am a steriod monster. Drinking has become my new drug of choice, after quitting the harder stuff. I can NEVER have too much of a good thing. I over-analyze people constantly...psychology is one of my main passions in life...figuring out the mangled mess people have made their minds into intrigues me more than anything else. I watch independent films obsessively and read everything I can get my hands in....I'm too much of a critic for my own good...mostly just a critic of music and movies...I write bad poetry, some of it is in the journal. Sorry ladies I'm recently engaged to be married 3-22-08 to the most wonderful woman in the world. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is more painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let that person know how you feel. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one so that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift. Love is when you take away the feeling, the passion, and the romance in a relationship...and find out you still care for that person. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they'll love you back. Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart but if it doesn't, be content it grew in yours. There are things you'd love to hear that you would never hear from the person whom you would like to hear them from, but don't be so deaf as not to hear it from the one who says it from his heart. The beginning of love is to let those we love be just themselves, and not twist them with our own image -otherwise, we love only the reflection of ourselves we find in them. May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, enough hope to you happy and enough money to buy me gifts. ~A Misunderstood Genius | |||||
